Independence Day Celebration on the North Shore Great Lawn
Experience Pittsburgh’s largest Fourth of July firework display during the City of Pittsburgh Independence Day Celebration from 4-10 p.m. on July 4.
Events and activities are subject to change:
Kicking off at 4:00 pm, activities will include non-stop musical entertainment across two stages on the PNC Great Lawn. Check out the People's Food Truck Corral for local cuisines from around the area while gazing up at our 80 foot tall hot-air balloon! Also be sure to visit our Family Fun Zone, and catch some local performers on the Sargent Electric Solar Stage. Looking for more? Be sure to check out the Grandview Park Band Stand for live music, kid's activities, local refreshments, and a premier view of the fireworks display!
The fireworks display begins at 9:35 p.m. lighting up the skyline for a jaw-dropping 25-minute celebration!

Anthrocon 2025: Deep Sea Adventures
Join us for our annual convention every summer as we celebrate anthropomorphics, which are human-like animal characters, such as have fascinated mankind since the dawn of human imagination. WALK EVENT DETAILS:
We will meet at the George Washington Monument (located just inside the park at W North Ave & Sherman Ave) at 10am. Once everyone has arrived and checked-in with your walk host, we will then head out on our walk through the Allegheny Commons West Park, around Lake Elizabeth and back to the Monument. We will do this loop twice for a total distance of 1 mile. We will then head back to the greenspace near the lake for coffee and our sponsored talk!

Carnegie Celebrates June Teenth

The Mom Walk Pittsburgh
Join us for a MOM WALK & PARK PLAYDATE in Highland Park, PA, in collaboration with The Pittsburgh Moms!
Walks and our community are open to all moms: moms-to-be, bonus moms, newborn moms, toddler moms, big kid moms, and more. Everyone is always welcome!
WALK DETAILS:
We will meet at the fountain, just inside the main Park entrance. We will then head out along Reservoir Drive Walk and loop around to the Highland Park Super Playground. Chat with other mamas while the kids enjoy some playtime at the playground. Total Distance of 1.03 miles.
Free parking is available within the park and on the streets surrounding the park.
Bring your kiddos, strollers, and sunscreen, and get ready to grow your village and meet other local mamas and their families.
If you'd like to enjoy a coffee on our walk, we recommend stopping beforehand at Tazza D'oro located just a quick walk from the Park (location: 1125 N Highland Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15206).
Our walks are always free for everyone. However, we ask that you register for this event to confirm your attendance and allow event organizers to notify you of any changes. Please register only for yourself (do not include your children in the number of attendees).
