Halloween Movies in the Parks

This year’s free movie in the park is Beetlejuice (2024, PG-13) and will begin around 6:25pm-6:40pm.

Punkin Chunkin

Time to send those squash a-sailing at the 9th annual Punkin Chunkin! Watch as pumpkins are launched across the amphitheater field in Hartwood Acres Park by a full-size trebuchet. 

Punkin Chunkin is free and open to all ages, with fun and games for the whole family, even furry friends!

Living Dead Weekend

When: October 24-26, 2025

Where: Inside Monroeville Mall (The filming location for George A. Romero's Zombie Classic Dawn of the Dead)

This event is for Zombie and Classic Horror Movie fanatics. Enjoy a celebration of George Romero's "Night of the Living Dead" movie in the very town where it was created! You will enjoy movie screenings, celebrity appearances, and film location tours.

Ohio Township Haunted Trail

Haunted Trail Walk- Less Spooky on October 24, 2025 at 6:00pm

Haunted Trail Walk on October 25, 2025 at 9:00pm

The Ohio Township Haunted Trail is a free annual Halloween event at the Ohio Township Community Park. Expect spooky lights, sounds and actors in the woods. The ‘Less Spooky’ night offers a less-scary experience if needed!

Bushy Run Battlefield Paranormal Night

Zombies of the Corn Haunted Attraction

When: Every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from September 26th- November 1

Haunted Mini Golf at Hopewell Windmill

Where: 2142 Brodhead Road, Aliquippa PA 15001

This haunted outdoor mini golf experience is Halloween fun for the whole family. Featuring glow in the dark golf balls, Halloween music, and Halloween decorations. But watch for surprises around each corner! The course before dark is encouraged for younger kids.
